Heritage Park is located at 101 Lake Dow Road, just off Highway 81 East in McDonough, Ga. In addition to the military museum, the Historic Village at Heritage Park boasts a Settler’s Cabin, old Schoolhouse, corn crib, store, detached cookhouse, and a 1934 Steam Locomotive.
There’s lots to see and do at Heritage Park for all ages — plan a visit and enjoy a picnic under a pavilion and let the kids play in the Kidsville Playground, and explore the community gardens.
When you leave, take a stroll around the historic McDonough square and shop the unique boutiques and enjoy dinner by candle light or live music at one of our fine restaurants in town.
